Alicia Ponder

Author Alicia Ponder is an avid reader of fantasy and science fiction. She wrote much of this website, and has several publications to her name including Caught on Canvas, Painted Days, the school journal story, "Grandpa's photo album" published 2010, and four school journal plays; "Wild Life", "Mousetrap", "Touchdown", and "Santa Trap".  You can follow this link to her short story, the Queen and I originally published in the ICON Handbook March 2005 and winner of the SF & F NZ, short, short story competition. 

Living in York Bay her one true regret is that she doesn't get to the beach as often as she likes -- and that up to this date very few space-ships have landed on her front lawn. Of course this could be seen as two regrets, but only if you happen to be counting.

An avid fencer specialising in foil and occasionally dabbling in epee, Alicia is an occasional coach for Hutt Valley Fencing Club. She sometimes finds the time to peruse and review the latest books, look after the gallery for Richard and Joanna, relieve at Hutt Valley High School, and provide a taxi service for her two children.  She also provides an advertising, writing and copyediting service for Rona Gallery including this website, so if you find a mistake please contact us attn Alicia, cheers.
