New Zealand artist Cherie Knott is, undeniably, an artist with vision and talent. Her subject matter has been diverse, ranging from whimsical works to powerful statements about the environment, and people. She has recently been inspired by music and the extraordinary. Both her oil paintings and sculptures express "life", not only the everyday, seemingly commonplace occurrences, but in its high form, the vivacity of freedom of expression.
