Shadow Wave - Book 12, CHERUB series by Robert Muchamore
Author: Robert Muchamore
After a tsunami causes massive devastation to a tropical island, its governor sends in the bulldozers to knock down villages, replacing them with luxury hotels.
Guarding the corrupt governor's family isn't James Adams' idea of the perfect mission, especially as it's going to be his last as a CHERUB agent. And then retired colleague Kyle Blueman comes up with an unofficial and highly dangerous plan of his own.
James must choose between loyalty to CHERUB, and loyalty to his oldest friend.
CHERUB agents have one crucial advantage: adults never suspect that kids are spying on them. For official purposes, these children do not exist.

Is this the end of CHERUB?
That's one of the most frequent questions I get asked at events and by e-mail.
James will be seventeen by the end of this book and ready to leave CHERUB. But will I carry on with a new character?
The truth is, even I don't know the answer to that question. I might carry the series on, but only if I can think up some really good storylines.
